#1795 – Officially Unemployed*

ENGLISH

Today is the first day of the month of September. This means that as of today, I am officially unemployed! Haha πŸ˜† Yes, my contract at TU Delft ended yesterday and I will start my new job next month (in October).

I am very excited; as I have planned a lot of activities for this one sabbatical month of mine; mostly traveling (with my parents as well). Yeay!

Speaking of TU Delft, as obviously I still have not officially got my PhD degree yet, I am actually given the “hospitality” position at the university. This means that while I am not being employed by the university anymore, some “hospitalities” are still provided by TU Delft for me. This includes my university account, my official university email, and also my office (including my computer as well). Basically all the basic ingredients that are meant to help me, eventually, get the PhD degree while not being employed by the university so no salary, no bonus, no holiday allowance, and no other professional obligation πŸ˜€ .

Anyway, but I do not expect myself to do a lot of work in September. Afterall, September is supposed to be my vacation month anyway; as I took no vacation during the summer this year (weekend trips do not count, of course πŸ˜› ). I deserve some break, and this is what I intend to do πŸ™‚ .

So, cheers for the month of September!! πŸ™‚

BAHASA INDONESIA
