#1466 – Sporting Story from Last Week

Tennis

Last week was the last week of my training lesson this period. And as usual, we played a little game. Since there were only the seven of us, the trainer also participated. It was a move-up move-down tiebreak game (so we played a tiebreak so each game would not last too long). The winner would go to the next court and the loser would go to the court in the other direction. I started playing with my fellow participants, and obviously I kept on winning (even though my serve was not at its best form that day), muahaha๐Ÿ˜† . So as a result, eventually I got to the court where I must face the trainer. And guess what? He was so damn good! Hahaha (well, obviously, as he was the trainer). In that game, he destroyed me, lol๐Ÿ˜† . In the end I was down so bad, and I was serving from the ad (the left) side, so I decided to go for a big wide serve, a low percentage shot in tennis btw since the margin of error was small. The serve did go in exactly at the spot I was aiming for, but it still came back. But I had a follow-up plan for the shot after that, in case this did happen, which was a V shot. But then he was still able to get it, damn! Haha๐Ÿ˜› .

Gym

It has been about one and a halfย months since I went to the gym, and last week I decided to scale myself with the cool measurement scale again. The trainer said since it had only been 1.5 months so probably there would not be that much of a difference yet though. But I still went for it. She was right though, even though the numbers changed, they were not that much. Well, except that I had lost 3.5 kg of the 5 kg holiday weight I gained from my one month Indonesia trip this August. Not bad, I guess, haha๐Ÿ˜› .

Tenis

Ceritanya, minggu lalu adalah minggu terakhir les tenisku periode ini. Dan seperti biasa, kami bermain game kecil-kecilan. Karena waktu itu peserta yang hadir ada tujuh orang, jadilah pelatihnya ikutan main. Kami memainkan game tiebreak move-up move-down (jadi kami memainkan sebuah tiebreakย sehingga masing-masing game tidak akan berlangsung terlalu lama). Pemenang akan berpindah ke lapangan sebelah dan yang kalah pindah ke lapangan sebelah satunya di arah yang berlawanan. Aku mulai bermain dengan melawan peserta les lainnya, dan jelas aku menang terus doong (walaupun serve-ku tidak dalam kondisi yang prima waktu itu), muahaha๐Ÿ˜† . Sebagai akibatnya, pada akhirnya aku tiba di lapangan dimana aku harus melawan pelatihku. Dan bagaimanakah hasilnya? Ih, ia jago banget dong! Hahaha (ya iya lah ya secara dia kan pelatihnya gitu). Di permainan itu, aku benar-benar dihancurkan dah olehnya, hahaha๐Ÿ˜† . Di akhir pertandingan itu, karena toh skorku tertinggal amat jauh, dan waktu itu aku sedang memegang servis dari sisi advantage (sebelah kiri), jadilah aku memutuskan untuk mengambil risiko aja dengan memukul servis keras lebar (bola aku arahkan ke pinggir lapangan), sebuah pukulan persentase rendah di tenis karena margin of error-nya kecil banget. Servisku masuk pas di titik sasaranku, tetapi toh bolanya masih bisa dikembalikan dong. Aku masih memiliki rencana follow-up setelahnya sih, andaikata ini terjadi, yaitu pukulan V. Eh tetapi kok masih bisa dibalikin juga, sial! Haha๐Ÿ˜› .

Gym

Sudah sekitar satu setengah bulan semenjak aku pergi ke gym, dan minggu lalu aku memutuskan untuk menimbang badan dengan mesin pengukurย yang keren itu lagi. Trainer-nya bilang bahwa karena baru 1,5 bulan aja, kemungkinan besar belum banyak perubahan yang berarti. Ah, tetapi aku tetap aja menimbang, haha. Dan trainer-nya ternyata benar, walaupun angkanya memang berubah, tetapi perubahannya nggak banyak sih. Eh, kecuali bahwa aku sudah membakar 3,5 kg dari kenaikan berat badan 5 kg akibat liburan di Indonesia selama sebulan Agustus lalu loh. Lumayan lah ya, haha๐Ÿ˜› .

    1. Hahaha, sekalian untuk mengukur kemampuan kita sekarang ada dimana kan, makanya nyoba ngelawan pelatih, huahaha๐Ÿ˜› .

      Iya, maksudnya sudah turun 3,5 kg๐Ÿ˜€ .

    1. Iya, padahal kayaknya pelatihnya mainnya juga nggak maksimal loh itu, udah sengaja “dikurangin”; cuma main placement bola aja, haha. Jadi emang jago banget dah pelatihnya๐Ÿ˜€ .

    bagus deh udah ilank 3,5 kg nya, tinggal buang 1,5 kg lagi buat balik ke berat normal kan.. semangat terus ngegym nya hahahhaa

    Lumayan dong Ko dah berkurang 3,5kg.. Gw nurunin 2kg aja dah bangga bener..haha๐Ÿ˜€ Dari kapan tauk 2kg aja turunnya..haha
