#1439 – After Ten Days Back in Delft

So, it has been about ten days since I came back to Delft from my one month Indonesia trip this year. How is life in general? Well, here are a few stories about it.

Jetlagged

Unsurprisingly, I was jetlagged in the first a few days after being back in Delft. It was the better jetlagged though (as I was flying westward) as in it made me feel sleepy and woke up at (theoretically) the ideal time. But the problem was, since I have been following the US Open as well (obviously), I was not really able to get to bed “too” early (due to the time difference). And I ended up getting to bed mostly at around midnight anyway 😆 . However, the problem was, my body was still jetlagged so it automatically woke up at around 05:30 and I actually felt really fresh!! This meant I only had around 5 to 6 hours of sleep; definitely far from ideal, haha. But slowly it has been getting better, especially with the help of the weekend 🙂

Weight

A few have been asking me how much weight I gained in this trip. Well, I did not weigh myself before the trip (almost) ended because obviously that would kill the fun. And now that I am back in Delft, I can tell you know that just after a one month trip to Indonesia, apparently I gained FIVE kg! Yes, FIVE kilogram! Damn!! 😆

Luckily though, with my height, at least this additional 5 kg still does not make me being overweight, still within the “normal” boundary in the BMI scale with some spare kg to go. But still, I feel like I need to get back to my (hopefully) healthier life, hahaha 😛 .

New Sports Card

Still in relation to the weight “issue” above, it happened that my sports card membership ended in the end of August and I needed to renew it; which I obviously did. Last year, I also bought a gym membership with my sports card and I had a plan to use it. Well, in reality, it turned out that I have never used it, not even once, in the past once year 😳 😆 . Yes, I failed miserably, so embarassing 😦 .

And how about this time? Well, I decided to buy another gym membership as well. But this time, beside the €5 discount that I got for buying the sports card WITH a gym membership 😛 , I have more motivation to use it. Hopefully this motivation lasts long, hahaha 😛 . At least this week I have been to the gym, so this year has gone much better than the previous two 😆 .

BAHASA INDONESIA

Nah, sudah sekitar sepuluh hari semenjak aku kembali ke Delft dari liburanku di Indonesia selama satu bulan tahun ini. Bagaimanakah kabar kehidupan sehari-hariku akhir-akhir ini? Berikut ini beberapa cerita tentangnya.

Terkena Jetlag

Tidak mengejutkan, aku terkena jetlag juga di beberapa hari pertama setelah aku kembali di Delft. Tetapi ini adalah jetlag yang enak sih (karena aku terbang ke arah barat) karena ini membuatku merasa ngantuk dan bangun di waktu yang (secara teori) baik bagiku. Nah, masalahnya adalah, karena minggu ini aku juga mengikuti penayangan US Open (jelas lah), aku nggak bisa deh tidur awal (karena perbedaan waktu). Dan jatuhnya aku malah tidur selalu sekitar tengah malam, haha 😆 . Nah, masalahnya lagi adalah, karena badanku masih terkena jetlag, aku secara otomatis bangun sekitar jam 05:30 pagi dong dan badanku merasa segar sekali!! Ini artinya aku cuma tidur sekitar 5 sampai 6 jam aja kan; jelas tidak ideal deh, haha. Tetapi perlahan-lahan ini membaik sih, terutama dengan bantuan akhir pekan yang lalu ini 🙂

Berat Badan

Beberapa sempat ada yang bertanya beratku naik berapa kilo setelah perjalanan ini. Aku tidak menimbang berat badan ketika perjalanannya belum berakhir karena jelas aja itu akan merusak keasyikan berlibur di Indonesia dong ya. Nah, karena sekarang aku sudah kembali di Delft, aku menimbang beratku dan ternyata naik LIMA kilogram loh! Iya, LIMA kilogram gitu! Sial!! Huahaha 😆

Eh, untungnya sih, dengan tinggi badanku, 5 kg ekstra ini tidak membuatku overweight sih, masih tergolong “normal” loh dalam skala BMI dengan margin (ke level overweight) yang lumayan juga. Ah, tetapi masih aja lah, rasanya aku harus segera kembali ke kehidupan yang (mudah-mudahan) lebih sehatku, hahaha 😛 .

Sports Card Baru

Masih terkait dengan isu naiknya berat badan di atas, kebetulan juga keanggotaan sports card-ku berakhir di akhir Agustus dan aku perlu memperpanjangnya; yang mana jelas aku lakukan. Tahun lalu, aku juga membeli keanggotaan gym beserta dengan sports card-ku dan aku berencana menggunakannya. Nah, kenyataannya, aku tidak pernah menggunakannya dong, tidak bahkan sekali pun saja, setahun belakangan ini 😳 😆 . Iya, gagal parah banget dah ini, memalukan 😦 .

Dan bagaimanakah kali ini? Kali ini aku memutuskan untuk membeli keanggotaan gym-nya lagi loh, huahaha 😆 . Tetapi kali ini, di samping karena ada diskon €5 yang aku dapatkan karena membeli sports card DENGAN keanggotaan gym :P, rasanya juga ada motivasi yang lebih kuat nih. Mudah-mudahan bisa bertahan lama ya, hahaha 😛 . Setidaknya sih minggu ini aku sudah ke gym sehingga artinya tahun ini sudah lebih baik daripada dua tahun sebelumnya 😆 .

    at least udah dateng sekali yah, nggak 0 lagi hahha
    aku kalo lagi member gym bela2in dateng meski males, soalnya sayang udah bayar 😆 makanya join membernya yg itungan bulan aja dan pilih bulan2 yg lagi ga sibuk, ga berani lgsg yg tahunan 😛
    astaga banyak juga naiknya 5 kilo, kalo perempuan udah nangis gegulingan huahahaha
    moga secepetnya balik ke berat badan idealnya deh *apa yg skrg lebih ideal*

    Gw 3 tahun lalu berawal dari naik 5kg lho krn trip Jawa-Bali Overland.. Tapi dibiarin.. Ehh malah naik sampe 20kg skrg.. Uhukk :(( Makanya buru2 lah dirimu turunin lagi, Ko.. hahah.. Tar keterusan berabe..hahaha
