I have been very busy these past two days (well, and the days before too though, but there were non-routine stuffs that I had to do these past two days that set these two days apart from the others).
Courses and Work Stuffs
I was attending a course on Thursday, which was part of the Graduate School. The course took “half” a day (even though it was “half”, it was from 12:30 to 17:30, so I think it was more than half; because two meetings like this would result a total of ten hours, which was more than “one day” course which was eight hours). Anyway, I found the course kinda boring. I mean, the content was good in the sense that it was always good to know that something was available. However, I don’t think it would be directly useful to my PhD project because my writing work mostly would be based on LaTeX. Well, yeah…
On Friday, I had another meeting in Utrecht. And this meeting really cheered me up because I got a very important piece of information from this meeting. It felt really nice because I felt like my project was finally progressing, even though still in the bureaucratic level and not yet to the mathematical problem of my research. But still, I would need to pass through all these crazy bureaucracy first to get what I need to start my research. So in that sense it was still a progress, and I am really happy with that for now.
During the interview with my supervisors before I took this PhD position, they told me that this kind of bureaucracy problem could be expected. And in fact, this could be quite a challenging problem to solve. So now you understand why I feel happy about it, right?
Anyway, I don’t think I can (or want to) share what the bureaucracy problem is here, beside I don’t think it is that important for public to know

Tennis
Even though the entire of my tennis lesson is cancelled for this period, some people from the course and I still decided to play by ourselves. You know, even though there was no trainer, it was still good to hit some balls to keep the consistency or even to improve. So that was what we did on Friday as well.
After getting back to Delft from Utrecht, I went directly to the sports centre to play tennis. And it was another record for me as I played for 2.5 hours non-stop,
. And I can tell you that it was so tiring! Hahaha
. Overall I was kinda below-impressed with my form today, even though not frustrated as well. But probably that was understandable because I was kinda tired and I haven’t been practicing that much.
BAHASA INDONESIA
I managed to finish every work that I set myself to be done before the Christmas Break (which starts as of tomorrow

I was able to sleep eventually, but of course I reported this condition to the caretaker the day after. I think it was because it needed new battery.
So it means that I am going to Bergen, in Norway, this mid-June for the workshop! Yes, I am (finally) going to Scandinavia (and it will be for free (unless I decide to extend my stay a little bit))!! huahaha
And more importantly: we do not need to do any revision (good news for her because she was leaving for Malaysia for three weeks starting yesterday, hahaha
